MODERN LOUNGE/DINING AREAThe client already had two black leather sofas and wanted a modern light coloured scheme to fit with these. We designed a mainly natural look with wallpaper, wooden floor and maple funiture and accented with a blue border on the leading edge of the curtains and rug. |

BRIGHT BATHROOMA very white bathroom! - although the existing décor provided a clean pristine look the bathroom felt quite cold and the client was keen to make it feel more warm and welcoming as it was a bathroom mainly used by guests. The client did not want to go to the expense of changing the bathroom suite or tiles as they were reasonably new. Inspiration was taken from the tiles which have a bright blue, orange and green border around the top. The walls were marked out in the striped and checkerboard pattern and first orange, then blue emulsion painted alternately. Blue ceramic tiles were laid on the floor and accessories added to fit the theme.

TULIP BEDROOMA colour scheme for the walls was needed to fit in with the existing tulip patterned curtains. The room's window faces directly south and the yellow colour scheme chosen enhances the warmth throughout the day. The bed lacked a headboard and instead of adding a traditional one, we added a row of painted tulips to providing a similar shape. A new duvet cover completed the scheme with a subtle embroidered tulip effect.

NATIVE AMERICAN DINING ROOMThe client already had these fantastic native American items as well as quite a large amount of wood in the room with a large dresser and table. The rustic theme was continued by adding a thick wooden curtain pole and simple tab top terracotta curtains. The walls were painted a buff colour with an orange/black and metallic gold border at the top of the walls inspired by the native American theme. Finally, feathers were stencilled on the walls randomly with a metallic gold paint.

CHILDRENS BEDROOMThe theme was inspired by this boys bedspread from Laura Ashley. The eyelet curtains were appliqued with a similar aeroplane design and walls decorated in a sky and cloud design with hot air balloon mural. |

RED/WHITE BEDROOMA modern look started by the white finish of the Riverdale Ducal furniture and the clients love of red!

MOROCCAN LOOThe mirror had been bought in the souks of Marrakech in Morocco - the walls were painted in a toning colour and voile of similar colours with a matching diamond design was added at the window. Following on the diamond theme, a dado height border was stamped and later coloured stones glued to the centre of every other diamond. |
